The Beginning

The origins of Yellow Schedule, a female-led technology business, are rooted in a passion to make a difference in the world. Born from the frustration of missing a medical appointment for one of her children, our CEO Martina Skelly, set out to create a problem-solving platform that would improve the lives of patients and drive efficiency in healthcare organizations.

Driven by a desire to leverage technology for societal good, our team is highly motivated to make a positive impact and improve access to healthcare services.

Martina is the Co-Founder and CEO of Yellow Schedule, a problem-solving platform born out of her own frustration with missing a medical appointment for one of her children. With a background in Media Lab Arts, Martina has a successful track record in digital marketing, having run her own agency and worked with clients such as Renault, The Western Development Commission, and Adare Manor. She has also lectured nationally for the Digital Marketing Institute at Dundalk Institute of Technology. Martina's entrepreneurial spirit and drive to make a difference in the world is reflected in her numerous awards, including Women in Business and Top 100 Women in STEM in Ireland. Additionally, she has completed the iGAP (International Growth Alliance Program) and earned a post-graduate diploma with distinction in International Selling, as well as the EI Access Silicon Valley program. Martina is also the Co-Founder of SportsTech Ireland and has applied to and run TEDx Women in Limerick. She is highly motivated to leverage technology for societal good and make a positive impact in the world.

Michael is a highly experienced programmer and web consultant with over 20 years of programming experience. He has a proven track record of delivering complex and innovative solutions for some of the world's leading companies, including Schlumberger and Brink's. His previous projects include the development of a company-wide project management extranet system for a multinational oilfield services provider, distance learning modules for the ICGP, and consultancy and development work on a high throughput international SMS Gateway.

Michael has a 1st Class BSc in Computing Science from Griffith College Dublin.

Founder and Group CEO of Clanwilliam, a global healthcare group. Clanwilliam employs a global team of over a thousand people across three continents. Howard is also a member of the Executive Council of the Irish Software Association, a founding member and director of the Irish Healthcare IT Vendors Association and a founding member and director of HL7 Ireland, the expert healthcare messaging standards body. Howard completed the leadership for Growth programme in Stanford University, California and has been shortlisted twice for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards. Howard also holds an MBA from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business and a Diploma in Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law at the incorporated Law Society.

Sean Riddell - Non-Executive Director

Sean has over 30 years’ experience in technology supporting the UK healthcare sector. Sean joined EMIS Group in 1989 and he had significant involvement in the Group’s pioneering initiatives, such as enabling GP appointments to be booked via the internet or mobile phone, the secure viewing of a patient’s medical records over the internet and the growth of www.patient.co.uk. He served as CEO from floatation until March 2013. Sean worked for Provident Financial Group as a Business Information Analyst prior to joining EMIS and has a degree in Psychology.

Jenny qualified as a SRN/SRCN in 1973 and spent 6 years nursing in the Hammersmith and Great Ormond Street hospitals. After raising a family, she joined EMIS Group in 1991 and worked in many roles and retired as Operations and Marketing Director. Jenny was also a non executive director of the London based technology company Doctor Care Anywhere and was a founder and director of the Spa Retreat – a charitable organisation offering respite to women with life limiting diseases.
